Diabetic retinopathy is a
complication of diabetes problem which have to be anticipated.
Diabetic retinopathy are caused by weakened of
blood vessels in the retina and damage by high glucose
levels in the blood. At the time of weakened blood vessels, it was clogged and
cause swelling in the eye and then the eye sight
becomes blurred.
Even then new blood vessels begin to form, new blood vessels are very weak, so easily broken and may cause blood to seep into the vitreous (the fluid that fills the back of the eye). Blood seepage is going to block the incoming light that could reach the retina. If the conditions of retinopathy gets worse if not taken care of properly , moreover it can lead to blindness due to the formation of scar tissue that pull the retina away from the back of the eye.
